Kodava Samaja will be celebrating the 153rd anniversary of Haradasa Appaneravanda Appacha Kavi on Sept.21 at 10.30 am at the Samaja premises in Vijayanagar here as ‘Kodava Sahitya Day.’ Appacha Kavi, credited with scripting the first Kodava play and also acting in it, is called as Adikavi of Kodava language.
All members of the Management Committee including special invitees and festival committee are requested to attend the celebration, according to a press release from Mysuru Kodava Samaja Secretary.
