KR Co-operative Bank fetes Senior Co-operators

Pratibha Puraskar presented to meritorious students

Mysuru: Sri Krishnarajendra (KR) Co-operative Bank had organised a function at Sarada Vilas Centenary Hall in Krishnamurthypuram here on Sunday to felicitate senior Co-operators and also to present Pratibha Puraskar to meritorious children of members of the Bank.

Senior Co-operators Anantha Sharma, N. Nanjundaswamy, B. Raghavendra, H.R. Rangaswamy, K.B. Honnappa, K.S. Prabhu, U.M. Shantappa, M. Shivappa, C.B. Basavaraj, M.S. Subbakrishna, B. Basavarajappa, Devajammanni, H.R. Manjula, P.L. Vijayalakshmi and D. Lathakumari were felicitated.  About 20 children of members of the Bank who had excelled in SSLC and  PUC were presented Pratibha Puraskar on the occasion.

Speaking after receiving the felicitation, C.B. Basavaraj hailed the Bank as one of the best Co-operative Banks in city with over 10,000 members. He lauded the contribution of the youth in the development of the Bank. He observed that many members of the Board of the Bank had identified themselves in politics.

Sri Shivanandapuri Swamiji of Kaginele graced the occasion. Bank President H. Vasu, Vice-President H.V. Bhaskar, Directors Thayur Vittal Murthy, M.D. Parathasarathy, Prasad, G.M. Panchakshari, N. Siddappa, D. Basavaraj, M.N. Naveen Kumar, Indira Venkatesh, M. Parvathamma, Professional Directors B.G. Krishnamurthy, T.V. Narayanaprasad and In-charge Manager M. Nandish were present.
