‘Kranthi Veera Sangolli Rayanna’ to be staged at K. Hemmanahalli

Mysuru: The historical drama “Kranthi Veera Sangolli Rayanna” will be staged by Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Kala Vrinda, Mysuru, in collaboration with Kannada and Culture Department, on Jan.20 at 5 pm in the premises of Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple at K. Hemmanahalli, Mysuru taluk. The drama will be directed by B. Leelavathi (Dodda Leela), noted senior stage artiste of city.

The artistes: Mahadeva Guddappa as Sangolli Rayanna, B. Leelavathi as Kittur Rani Channamma, Dr. N. N. Prahallada as Lord Pickering, Ancha Ramu as Shanbogh, Ananthu as Tahsildar, Sathyanarayana as Bichhugathi Channabasanna, Junior Somu as Venkatappa Nayaka, Kirana and Raghavendra as Captains, Kalanna as Sanyasi, Ramaiah as Shivadootha and Mary Christo – dancer.

The music will be scored by noted Casio expert Alex, tabla by Shivu; dress and makeup by Murthy of Gowrishankar drama scenes, Mysuru.

The drama will be inaugurated by G.N. Anantha Vardhan and  M. Ganesh of Sri Mahalingageshwara Temple authorities, K. Hemmanahalli. For further details contact Mob: +919845432773, according to a press release.
