Mysuru: Krishna Jayanthi Music competitions will conducted by Ganabharathi on  Aug.19 (Sunday) at 9 am at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Kuvempunagar.

The competitions are open to amateur artistes of Karnataka aged between 8 years and 25 years and who have not yet completed the Vidwat level examinations in music. Competitions will be in Karnatak music (Vocal & Instrumental), Percussion instruments,  Singing of Veena Seshanna compositions, Essay writing on the life and contribution of Veena Seshanna, Singing of Vachanas, Manku Thimmana Kagga singing and written Quiz.

Application forms  are available at the Bhavana premises during office hours (5 pm to 7 pm). The last date for receiving the completed applications is Aug.13.
