Mysore/Mysuru: As one more measure to arrest the spread of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, Krishnaraja MLA S.A. Ramdas launched ‘COVID War Room’ set up by K.R. Constituency COVID-19 Task Force at the office of Safe Wheels in Saraswathipuram.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the War Room is one more measure to effectively contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
Pointing out that all steps have been taken to make K.R. Assembly segment free of the virus, he said three COVID-19 Testing Labs have been set up in the Constituency at Makkala Koota premises in Krishnamurthypuram, at Jockey Quarters Primary Health Centre and at Nachanahallipalya Primary Health Centre. Members of the public, who show symptoms for the virus, must voluntarily come forward for undergoing medical check-ups. People can call the War Room (Ph: 0821-4001100, 2519531, 2519532) for any COVID-19 help, he said and added that the War Room will be open 24 hours.
He further said that three ambulances have been pressed into service for his Constituency and six doctors have been appointed for health check-ups in Containment Zones. A decision on conducting Rapid Antigen Tests will be taken in a couple of days, he added.
MCC Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde, Additional DC B.R. Poornima, Nodal Officer Jayasimha, KR ACP Poornachandra Tejaswi, Prashanth of Safe Wheels, Bhashyam, Sudheendra and others were present.
