KRS water level: Plea to officers concerned

August 28, 2017

Sir,

In a situation of inclement weather where there is a long dry spell, even though we are supposed to be in the midst of monsoon, we are interested to know the inflow of water into KRS whenever there is heavy rains, like it is since two days, in Cauvery catchment area in Kodagu and elsewhere.

Sadly, the authorities concerned [KRS Police Booth-Ph:08236-257227/ 257233 and Cauvery Neeravari Nigam – 95352-93317] do not respond when we call them for information. Will the authorities please ensure the officers concerned are farmer-friendly in this important matter?
