An inspiring opening wicket partnership of 165-runs between Bharghav Merai (97, 179b, 11×4, 1×6) and Dhruv Raval (74, 175b, 8×4) enabled Gujarat CA to score 206 for two in their second innings against Andhra CA on the third day of their four-day Group ‘D’ league tie in the KSCA Dr. (Capt.) K.Thimmappiah Memorial cricket tournament-2018 played at the JSS-SJCE grounds here on Thursday.

In Group ‘D’ tie at SDNR Wadiyar grounds, KSCA Colts’ batsman fought back strongly to post a total of 369 for six in 148 overs against Madhya Pradesh, at close of play on the third day. Vyshak Vijaykumar (64 n.o, 98b, 9×4) and Shubhang Hegde (48 n.o, 138b, 5×4) have added valuable 105-runs for the unfinished seventh wicket. Useful contributions came in from K.L.Shrijith (64, 8×4) and Ankith Udupa (53, 8×4).
