Excellent performances by openers M. Shreyas (71,7×4, 1×6) and L.R. Chethan (81, 7×4, 1×6) and their vital 150-run first wicket partnership helped Mysuru Zone register a facile 119-run win over Mangaluru Zone in the KSCA Inter-Mofussil Tournament for U-19 played at the Green Sports Village Grounds, Bengaluru, yesterday.

Batting first, Mysuru Zone scored 250 for seven in 49 overs. M. Shreyas (71), L.R. Chethan (81) and V. Uttam Gowda (55 n.o., 34b, 3×4, 4×6) were the main contributors.

In reply, Mangaluru Zone were bowled out for 131 in 32.3 overs. Prateek Rao (35) and Rahul J Shetty (21) were amongst the runs for Mangaluru Zone. T. Niranjan (3 for 12) and D. Jairaj Gowda (two for two) were the wicket-takers for Mysuru Zone.
