KSCA Mysuru Zone Gopalaswamy Memorial Tourney: JoJo CC emerges champion, Navodaya CC runners-up

City’s JoJo Cricket Club won the KSCA Mysuru Zone Gopalaswamy Memorial Tournament defeating Navodaya Cricket Club by seven wickets in the final held at JSS-SJCE KSCA Grounds at JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU) campus in Manasagangothri here recently.

Having won the toss and elected to bat, Navodaya CC were bowled out for 188 in 39 overs. Lochan Appanna top scored with 54 runs and Bhuvanesh P. Nayak scored 38 runs. While Pavan Kumar scalped three wickets for JoJo CC, Gowtham Sagar, Shantharaju and Lankesh picked up two wickets each. In reply, JoJo CC reached the target scoring 192 runs in 28.3 overs losing just three wickets. Both Gowtham Sagar and L.R. Chethan scored an unbeaten 54 runs. S. Ishaan and M.G. Vinyas picked up a wicket each for Navodaya CC.
