KSCA Mysuru Zone presents Annual Awards 2016-17

The 2016-17 season’s Annual Awards Ceremony of the Karnataka State Association (KSCA), Mysuru Zone, was held last evening at Nityotsava Convention Hall in city and prizes were given away to the League Champions (from 1st to 4th Division) and other Tournaments held during the season, by R. Sudhakar Rao (Hon. Secretary, KSCA, Bengaluru).

The players who had represented the Karnataka State in different age groups — Nikin Jose (State U-23 & State U-19, South Zone), K. Shashank (U-19 State & South Zone), Gowtham Sagar (U-19 State), G.L. Yashas (U-19 State), Saathvik Shamanur (U-16 State, South Zone & ZCA), Kruthik Krishna (State U-16, South Zone & ZCA), L.R. Kumar (U-16 State, South Zone, ZCA), Abhinoam G. Jacob (U-16 State) and R. Soundharya (U-16 State girls) were honoured on the occasion.

The players from Mysuru Zone who had represented Karnataka State in different age groups were felicitated by the KSCA Mysuru Zonal Committee at its Annual Awards Ceremony (2016-17) yesterday. Champions — 1st Division: Winner – RBNCC, Runner-up: Jo Jo CC; 2nd Division: Winner – Saraswathipuram SC, Runner-up – SKRSC, K.R. Nagar; 3rd Division: Winner – Bellur CC, Runner-up: Future CC; 4th Division: Winner – Warrior CC, Runner-up: Friends CC.

Highest Run-getter — 1st Division: P.V. Preetham (RBNCC – 681 runs); 2nd Division: N. Naveen Kumar (Star CC, 405 runs); 3rd Division: L.R. Chethan (Future CC, 435 runs); 4th Division: Imran Khan (Warriors CC, 309 runs).

Highest Wicket-taker — 1st Division: P. Naveen Kumar (Jo Jo CC – 49 wickets); 2nd Division: M.P. Sachin Pande (Yuvaraja’s College – 23 wickets); 3rd Division: H. Renu Kumar (Bellur CC, 24 wickets); 4th Division: Imran Khan (Warriors CC, 20 wickets).

A.V. Shashidhar (KSCA Managing Committee Member & Zonal Co-ordinator), S. Balachandar (KSCA Mysuru Zonal Committee Convener) and B.K. Kumar (Zonal in-Charge) were also present.
