Mysuru/Mysore: A 33-year-old employee of city’s Silk factory was killed when a KSRTC bus hit his bike near Benakanahalli Gate on Sosale Main Road this morning.
The deceased has been identified as K.N. Manuraj, son of S. Nagaraju, who was an employee of Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation Ltd. (KSIC) in Mysuru and a resident of M. Kebbehundi in T. Narasipur taluk.
Manuraj was on his way to Mysuru for work on his bike (KA-45-H-2199) when the KSRTC bus (KA-10-F-1325) collided head-on with the bike near Benakanahalli Gate, killing Manuraj on the spot.
Nanjangud Sub-Division DySP Prabhakar Rao Shinde visited the spot. T. Narasipur Town Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
