KSOU marks card scam: PU College Principal among two more arrested

Mysuru: Intensifying the probe into the KSOU fake marks card scam, the Jayalakshmipuram Police have arrested two more persons.

The arrested have been identified as Pandu Rathod, a PU College Principal at Kalaburagi and Avinash of Hole Alur in Dharwad District. The two were picked up from differented places a couple of days ago and after interrogation, the police produced the duo before the court yesterday. While Pandu Rathod was remanded to judicial custody, Avinash was handed 4-day police custody.

Meanwhile, the Jayalakshmipuram Police who had arrested Manjunath Kulkarni of Hubli and Mallanna of Yadgir, in connection with another fake marks card case, will be produced before the Court tomorrow as their police custody ends on Aug. 5.

CCB Police arrest one more accused: The CCB sleuths who have taken the lead in investigating the KSOU fake marks card scam, arrested one more person on Thursday in connection with the scam.

The arrested has been identified as Mohammad Yusuf Khan of New Life Education Trust in Raichur.

With Khan’s arrest, the number of persons arrested by the CCB Police in connection with the scam, has risen to nine, it is learnt.
