Mysuru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has bagged three National Awards during the Prawaas Excellence Summit and Awards Ceremony-2017 held at Mumbai onuly 29.

According to a release, the flybus service won under the ‘Best intercity connectivity’ category, city bus services in small and medium cities won the award under the category of ‘best rural connectivity’, and MITRA – the Intelligent transport system of Mysuru city bus services won the award under ‘Best intra-city connectivity’ category.

Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy received the awards from Diwakar Raote, Minister of Transport, Government of Maharashtra and C.P. Singh,  Minister for Transport, Government of Jharkhand, during the Ceremony at Mumbai.
