Mysuru: KSRTC Mysuru City and Rural Division Kannada Kriya Samithi has organised a function at Jaganmohan Palace here on Nov.29 at 3 pm to mark Kannada Rajyotsava.
Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakatara Bhavan here recently, Samithi City Wing President M. Shadakshari said that Transport Minister D.C. Thammanna will inaugurate the programme. He further said that District in-Charge Minister G.T. Devegowda will confer ‘Sahitya Ratna’ Award on writer Prof. Maleyuru Guruswamy.
He added that Pratibha Puraskar will be presented to children of KSRTC employees who had scored highest marks in Kannada in SSLC and PU examinations.
He further said that ‘Kannada Sri’ Award will be presented to employees also.
Samithi office-bearers C.D. Vishwanath, Prakash, Veerabhadraiah and Ramamurthy were present during the press meet.
