Kudos to PFA for prompt service

Sir,

Apropos the news item titled “Lactating dog bitten by cobra saved” (Star of Mysore dated Nov.4), it was heartening to read about the timely action taken by Savitha Nagabhushan, Vet Dr. Amardeep Singh and the support staff of PFA (People For Animals) to save the dog from certain death of snake bite.

A couple of days after the incident, I called up Savitha and was very happy to learn that the dog and its puppies were all doing fine.

My wife and I are dog lovers and we take care of fostering a number of strays on our street in Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 2nd Phase, Mysuru.

With the help of Savitha and Dr. Amardeep we were able to get them all sterilised and also vaccinated/protected at PFA against rabies and other common diseases.

They have always responded promptly and positively to our calls for help and succour for the stray dogs of our area. The services provided by them to the voiceless and abandoned denizens of Mysuru are truly remarkable and praiseworthy.
