This refers to the Weekend Star Supplement on ‘Kukkarahalli Kere, a walker’s heartthrob’ in SOM dated Aug.3. The above photo tells us that it is a runners or joggers’ Lake. In my opinion, the Lake should be used only for walking purpose.

Many times I have seen that the joggers don’t mind the people (particularly elder people) who come in the opposite direction, particularly near that narrow bridge at Double Road end. Many times in my own experience they have hit the shoulders of the walkers and had a fight also. They can use the University Pavilion, Track or University Grounds or Glades for jogging.
