Alongside the massive cleaning of Kukkarahalli Lake on Sunday, a Photography Exhibition by the citizens of Mysuru on Kukkarahalli Lake was also held at the Lake’s Main Gate (Pargola), in collaboration with University of Mysore (UoM). Out of 450 entries received, 125 photographs were selected and displayed at the expo that was open for public from 7 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 6.30 pm. A total of 68 people, including photographers, walkers, visitors to the Lake, contributed their pictures on birds, butterflies, spiders, landscapes, reptiles and flowers along with Jackals (that breed in Kukkarahalli Lake).
