Mysuru: “The 2018 Assembly elections in Karnataka had drawn the attention of the entire country. Every media had predicted that JD(S) is going to be the king-maker. I had then predicted that it will not be the king-maker but the king itself,” recalled AIMIM President and MP Asaduddin Owaisi speaking at a public meeting in city yesterday.
“I was in an interaction session with the media at the national level regarding Karnataka election result. They kept cross questioning me and my only answer was in Karnataka, JD(S) State President H.D. Kumaraswamy will not be the king-maker but the king. After the final results were out, my words came true,” he said.
“Hence, anything is possible in politics. If you people support us in the coming days our party could become the king-maker like JD(S) in a few States in the country. Also like them we could be kings ourselves,” he said.
He called upon the youth to help the politicians from the Muslim community to be elected in a State where Tipu Sultan had ruled. However, he warned that all struggle should be within the framework of the Constitution.
