Kuvempu Bhavageethe contest at KSOU on Dec. 29

Kuvempu Research and Extension Centre, Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Muktagangothri, Mysuru, has organised a State-level Bhavageethe singing competition of Poet Laureate Kuvempu’s poetries, as part of the 120th birth anniversary of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu on Dec. 29 at 9.30 am at Kaveri auditorium of KSOU. Two students each from various Varsities in the State and under-graduate and post-graduate students from the colleges coming under Department of Collegiate Education are eligible to take part in  the competition. The first prize winner will pocket Rs. 6,000, second prize – Rs. 4,000,  third prize – Rs. 2,000 and consolation prize – Rs. 1,000. Interested students may contact V.R.
