KUWJ election on Aug.5

The elections to the State Executive Committee and office-bearers of Karnataka Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) will be held on Aug. 5. Filing of nominations was open from July 17 to 19. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be on July 22 and Last date for withdrawal of nominations is July 24 (12 noon), following which the list of candidates remaining in the fray will be announced, according to a press release.
