L. Syed Mahmood (74), a resident of CFTRI Layout in the city, passed away here yesterday following brief illness.
He leaves behind his wife, son Dr. Syed Salim, a daughter, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed yesterday after Friday prayers, according to family sources.
