Mysuru: A labourer, who was helping in survey of MUDA land in Lal Bahadur Shastri Layout, died of electrocution, when the measuring iron rod he was holding came in contact with a live wire.
The deceased has been identified as Mahesh (28), a resident of Champanapura in Chamarajanagar.
Though he was rushed to K.R. Hospital, Mahesh breathed his last after failing to respond to the treatment.
Mysuru Rural Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
