Lakkamma (76), wife of late Ha.Ma. Chikkegowda and a resident of Doddahundi in the taluk, passed away yesterday in the village.
She leaves behind two sons including former Dhanagalli Gram Panchayat President Somanna, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at the family’s farm land in Doddahundi this morning.
