Mysore/Mysuru: Ahead of the inauguration of Sri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya on Jan. 22, 2024, Udupi Pejawar Mutt Seer Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji released a Lakshadeepotsava poster brought out by the city’s Sri Ramajyothi Seva Samithi at a programme organised at Vijaya Vittala educational institution premises in Saraswathipuram here on Sunday.
The Lakshadeepotsava organiser Prahlad said that this historical programme is organised under the aegis of Sri Ramajyothi Seva Samithi. Marking the inauguration of Ram Mandir, the Samithi will celebrate the occasion by lighting 2 lakh earthen lamps along the stretch of the road (Ashoka Road) from Veeraganapathi Temple at Veeranagere to Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at the Northern Gate of the Palace at 6.30 pm on Jan. 22. It is delightful to note that Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji has released the poster of the programme, he added.
Prahlad further said that all traders, associations and organisations and temples located on the stretch have extended their full co-operation. He appealed the residents of Mysuru to take part in this historical event in large numbers.
