Lakshmi Chaithanya (53), Insurance Surveyor & Loss Assessor and a resident of Saraswathipuram, died of heart attack this morning. He leaves behind his wife Kavitha, daughter Harshitha, elder brother Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar (VC of Mysore University) and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this evening.
