Leaning lamp posts lurking danger!

August 26, 2024

Sir,

The road between Gun House and Hardinge Circle is a busy stretch, yet a lamp post and street light pole on this route are leaning precariously, almost to the point of falling.

Ironically, the ever-vigilant city Traffic Police are often stationed right next to this leaning pole, engrossed in their daily routine of checking vehicles. As we all know, our Traffic Police are adept at catching traffic offenders by hiding behind trees.

Perhaps they could make use of this leaning pole for the same purpose, while also safeguarding innocent road users from the potential danger it poses.

This pole is visibly leaning and could fall at any moment. Immediate attention is needed to prevent a potential accident.
