Mysuru: The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Mysore Centre, has organised a lecture presentation by Prof. D.S. Ramakrishna Rao, Principal Architect, Desirazu Associates, Mysuru, on the topic “Heritage Documentation – A New Perspective” on Nov.22 at Hotel Grand Mercure, New Sayyaji Rao Road, at 6 pm.
Profile: Prof. D.S. Ramakrishna Rao is a Master of Architecture from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA (1982 – 1983) and Bachelor of Architecture from Chandigarh College of Architecture, Chandigarh (1973-1978).
An Architect with over 40 years of experience in the Sultanate of Oman, United States of America and India, he has handled a variety of Projects ranging from Institutional Campuses, Industrial Complexes, Residential Township and Single Family Villas.
Presently he is the Dean and Design Chair at Mysore School of Architecture (MSA) and was the Visiting Professor at University School of Design, University of Mysore from 2012-2015.
He is a Fellow of Indian Institute of Architects (IIA); Past Chairman of Indian Institute of Architects, State Chapter, TN; Associate Member of Indian Institute of Interior Designers and Life Member of Indian Red Cross.
