Leela Ramakrishnaiah (86), mother of journalist H.R. Ranganath, Chief of Public TV, passed away yesterday at a private hospital in city following age-related illness.
She leaves behind three sons including H.R. Ranganath, five daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this morning, according to family sources.
