Mysore/Mysuru: On the occasion of ‘International Day of Elimination of Violence Against Women,’ a legal awareness on ‘Protection of Women from Sexual Harassment Act’ was jointly organised by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Mysore Bar Association and Zilla Panchayat at Mysuru ZP auditorium recently.

Senior Shirastedar of District and Sessions Court K.S. Hemalata inaugurated the programme.

Prabhavati M. Hiremath, Principal District and Sessions Judge and also the Chairman of DLSA, presided.

 District Legal Services Authority Member-Secretary B.G. Dinesh, Mysore Bar Association President M. Mahadevaswamy, Vice-President Puttasiddegowda, Secretary S. Umesh and Additional Judge of the District Court ShaymaKhamroz and others were present during  the occasion.
