Mysore/Mysuru: A male leopard was found dead in Kundakere Range of Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Chamarajanagar district yesterday.
The leopard, which is about 7 years old, is said to have died of natural causes.
Bandipur Tiger Reserve Director Natesh, ACF Paramesh, Warden Krutika Alanahalli, Kundakere RFO Srinivas and other Forest staff visited the spot.
Veterinarian Dr. D.N. Nagaraj conducted the post-mortem following which the last rites of the leopard was conducted as per norms.
