Library facility provided to Govt. High School

L&T Prayas Trust – AASTHA Ladies Club has provided a new Library for Government High School at Kukkarahalli in Mysuru recently.

The library was inaugurated by Ravindra Bhakta, General Manager and Business Unit Head, Metering & Protection Systems, L&T Mysuru.

In his address, he mentioned that children have to cultivate the habit of reading and students should utilise the facility more efficiently, which benefits them.

Ravindra Bhakta and Dakshayini Bhakta, President of Aastha Club, have personally donated books worth of Rs. 5,000 to the library. The books were selected and procured as per the requirement of the School.

Sharada Raghavendra,  Executive Member and teacher at Kukkarahalli High School explained the necessity of a library.

Balasubramanyam, Deputy General Manager, Administration & Plant Engineering Department of L&T, Anuradha Ahuja, Vice-President, Shobha Gangolli, Secretary, Poornima Manjunath, Treasurer and several members of AastHa Club, S.A. Jyothi, Co-ordinator of the Ladies Club, N. Srinivas,  Shoba Laxmi from L&T and R. Kumaraswamy, SDMC member of the school were present on the occasion.

Babita Narasimha Murthy, member of the club, donated story books to the school library. R. Krishnappa, Head Master of Kukkarahalli School welcomed. Chadra Nayak, Physical Education Teacher, compered.
