Mysuru:  Prof. N. Usha Rani, eminent Media Educator, has been conferred the  Life Time Achievement Award by the Media Industry Group of Business World and Exchange 4 Media, New Delhi.

The Award was presented to her by K. G. Suresh, Director General and senior journalist, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, in a glittering ceremony held at India International Centre, New Delhi, in the presence of national and international journalists.

This is first time, the media  has honoured and conferred award on Media Educators recognising the contribution made to Media Education.

Prof. Usha Rani has won four international, two national and  a State award and other honours during her career spanning three decades. She is currently serving as Senior Professor Fellow in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Mysore.
