Karnataka Science and Technology Academy (KSTA), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka, in association with NMKRV College for Women, Jayanagar, Bengaluru has organised 11th KSTA Conference with the theme ‘New Vistas in Science and Technology for Common Good’ on Feb.1 and 2 at the college premises. On the occasion, Padma Bhushan Dr. B.V. Sreekantan, Former Director, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Bombay  and Hon. Visiting Professor of National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bengaluru, will be honoured with ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ which carries a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh, a gold medal and a citation.
