Link Aadhaar for Social Security Schemes by Dec. 30

Mysuru:  The district authorities have begun Aadhaar linking in city for disbursement of monetary benefits under various Social Security Schemes such as old age pension, Sandhya Suraksha, widow pension, Maitri and honorarium for the disabled.

The beneficiaries, who have not linked Aadhaar, should present copies of pension sanction letter, M.O. Receipt, Bank/Post Office pass book and Aadhaar card at Taluk Panchayat Office, Room No.5, Mini Vidhana Soudha, Nazarbad, before Dec. 30.

Failing to do so will result in discontinuation of disbursement of benefits, according to a press release from the Mysuru Taluk Tahsildar.

Calling Aadhaar registration agencies

Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep has instructed all private agencies registering the public for Aadhaar to function only from Government buildings.

Agencies failing to move to government buildings before December 2017, will be notified to the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) for blocking their station ID.
