Mysuru: Lions Club of Mysore Garden City, one of the premier service organisations in the city, celebrated its Silver Jubilee on July 1. The Club has been conducting several service activities for the community in the last 25 years.

On the occasion, Past Presidents of the Club were honoured in recognition of their rich contributions to the Club in their respective years of Presidentship. A video documentary on various service activities held by the Club in these 25 years was screened.

Charter members Ln. B.N Nayak, Ln. B.N. Prabhakar, Ln. P. Shekara, Ln. N.R. Rajashekar, Ln. N. Subramanya and Ln. Senthil Kumar were also honoured.

Shilpa Ravikumar rendered the invocation. Club President Ln. B.R. Ramadas welcomed. Pavana Tilak read the Flag Salutation. Hon.Secretary Ln. P. Puttaswamy proposed a vote of thanks. Past Presidents late Madhusudan and late V. Sanjay were remembered by observing one minute silence in their memory. Past President Ln. P. Shekara compered.
