Mysore/Mysuru: Lions District 317G will host Region Meet 8 under the leadership of Region Chairperson Ln. N. Vasuki on Jan. 10 at the Builders Association of India’s (BAI) MBCT Auditorium in Vidyaranyapuram.

The event themed “Selfless Service Mindset” promises to bring together Lions and Leos from across the region for a day of fellowship, learning and community service. Immediate Past Multiple Council Chairman Ln. Dr. N. Krishnegowda is the Chief Advisor of the Region Meet which will feature inspiring speeches and interactive sessions with the guests.

 District Governor Ln. K.L. Rajashekara, Dr. S.N. Mothi, Senior Paediatrician and Chairman of Ashakirana Hospital, Mysuru, Dr. Jyoti Shankar, Professor of Kannada Studies and Research Department, KSOU, will be the chief guests.

The event will also include cultural performances and exhibitions. Nearly Rs. 2 lakh worth of service activities will be  held on the occasion.

Lions District 317G is part of Lions International, a global service organisation with a mission to empower communities through volunteer service.
