Mysuru: As part of its Silver Jubilee celebration, the city’s Lekhika Sahitya Vedike will be conferring 25 writers with ‘Lekhika Sahitya Sri-2025’ award.

The awardees are: Damayanti Naregal, Vidya Shirahatti and Roopa Joshi of Dharwad; Dr. Karunalakshmi, Ganesh Amingad, K.M. Lolakshi, Padma Anand  and Roopa Narasimhan of Mysuru; Leelavathi, Prabha Dinamani, Sukanya Mukund, Suma Veena, N.L. Channegowda, Gorur Anatharaju and Udayaravi of Hassan; Nagaveni Rangan, Mukund Gangoor, D.Yashoda and Radha Tekal of Bengaluru; Madhura Karnam and  Deepika Chaati of Belagavi; M.J. Nagalakshmi of Chikkamagalur and Bhageerathi Hegde, Dr. Veena Sulya and Krishna Padaki of Uttara Kannada district.

The awards will be conferred on the writers at ‘Lekhika Sahitya Sambhrama’ literary fest to                      take place at AVK College in Hassan on Nov.9, according to a press release.
