Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of OBG, JSS Hospital, Mysuru, conducted a Live Hysteroscopy Surgery workshop on Sunday at JSS Hospital.
Dr. Vidya V. Bhat, Director, Radhakrishna Hospital, Bengaluru and a renowned Laparoscopic surgeon, was the resource person. About 147 Gynaecologists and Post-graduate students from in and around Mysuru district were benefitted by the hands-on training sessions at the workshop.
Dr. B. Manjunatha, Registrar, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, Dr. H. Basavanagowdappa, Principal, JSS Medical College, Dr. C.P. Madhu, Medical Superintendent, JSS Hospital, were present at the inaugural ceremony.
Interesting cases were operated followed by scientific lectures. Dr. S. Mamatha, Head, Department of OBG, JSS Hospital, stated that the hospital has a state-of-the-art Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic unit where all the surgical procedures are performed on daily basis by expert Gynaecology staff.
On this occasion, senior teachers who served in JSS Hospital were felicitated by the Department staff as a token of gratitude and appreciation.
