Mysore/Mysuru: In what is probably the last one this year (2022), the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) will be conducting National Lok Adalat in all Courts across the city and district on Nov. 12.

Lok Adalat is an alternative disputes redressal mechanism. It is a forum where disputes/cases pending in the Court of Law or at the pre-litigation stage are settled/ compromised amicably.

Civil cases, matrimonial cases and disputes, MACT (Motor Accident Claims Tribunal) cases, petty cases, Negotiable Instrument Act cases, Traffic and Municipal matters, civil and revenue matters, insurance claims, recovery suits, labour disputes etc., will be taken up at the Adalat, according to a press release issued by DLSA.
