Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysore Masaajid Association (MMA) comprising the managements of about ten Mosques, which supported two Covid Care Centres that brought much relief, almost completely free of cost, to nearly 1,200 poor victims of the Covid-19 in city, is starting a low cost general hospital on Friday (Dec. 4) at Rajivnagar.
The Hospital will cater to all the poor and downtrodden patients in need of low cost medical care, irrespective of their religion, caste or creed. Services like OPD consultation, routine treatment procedures, in patient care, lab investigations and medicines will be provided at very nominal and affordable prices, for the benefit of the weaker sections of society while maintaining the quality of service on par with the modern hospitals.
Supported entirely by funds generated through public contributions, the hospital will be a novel initiative where many doctors from different specialities will render their services. Notable among these are Dr. Anees Ahmed, Dr. Md Ghouse Shareef, Dr. Ravouf, Dr. Fuzail Ilyas, Dr. Nooruddin, Dr. K. Javeed Nayeem, Dr. Abid Sattar, Dr. Iftequar, Dr. Maqsood and Dr. Zuhaib, all of whom are specialists in various fields.
The Hospital Management in a press release has requested citizens to make best of this facility.
