Lt. Col. Srikantiah (Retd.) of Maratha Light Infantry Regiment passed away early morning today at his residence in Metagalli. He was 79. He had a meritorious service in Indian Army since 1964. On retirement he served as the President of Ashakiran Vidyalaya, Mysuru. He leaves behind his wife Sudha, a son, a daughter and grandchildren. Cremation will take place on Thursday (July 27).
