Sir,
I wish to draw attention to a serious safety concern at the Vishwa Manava Double Road Junction near the statue, where seven roads converge without a traffic signal.
While installing a signal here may be impractical for various reasons, the real danger lies in the three round stone slabs placed at the junction. This is a junction for seven roads from five different directions.
Currently, these slabs have no reflectors, making them nearly invisible to drivers after sunset. Several vehicles have already collided with the bottom-most slab, causing damage and posing risks to both motorists and pedestrians.
I strongly urge the authorities to take immediate action by fixing reflectors — at least on the bottom slab, ensuring visibility from all directions. Ideally, all three slabs should be fitted with powerful reflectors to enhance safety and prevent further accidents.
This is a simple yet vital step that can save lives and protect property. I hope the authorities will act promptly in the interest of public safety.
