Nageshwara Murthy (71), owner of a jewellery shop on Ashoka Road, passed away yesterday  in city, following a brief illness.

Son of late M. Masthachar of  Halladakeri, he leaves behind his wife, two sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held this afternoon at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
