Mysuru: Nineteen-year-old M.S. Varsha, a resident of Mysuru, has won the Miss Mysore contest that was organised by the District Administration and the Department of Women and Child Welfare Department. Punith won the Mr. Mysore title.
The contest was held at J.K. Grounds and there were more than 25 contestants. A resident of K.G. Koppal in city, Varsha is studying her second-year engineering at GSSSIETW College in city. She is the daughter of Satish, a businessman, and Pushpavathi. Suman D. Gupta had choreographed.
Speaking to Star of Mysore, Varsha said that she had won college-level beauty contests and this was her first ramp that was organised at the district level. “There were more than 25 contestants vying for the crown. I intend to participate in more such contests,” she said.
Punith has completed his ITI and is a resident of Ramanuja Road. He is also into arm wrestling. He plans to focus on arm wrestling and modelling.
