Litterateur M.S. Venkataramaiah (78), State President of Sirigannada Vedike and a resident of Kalidasa Layout, passed away this morning in Bengaluru.

A native of Mirle in K.R. Nagar taluk, he leaves behind his wife, two sons, daughters-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed in Bengaluru this afternoon, according to family sources.
