M.U. Subbaiah files nomination as BJP candidate from Ward 20

Hectic activity on last day of filing nominations

Mysuru:  BJP candidate for MCC polls from Ward No.20 (Vijayanagar) M.U. Subbaiah filed his nomination papers in two sets with Returning Officer V. Priyadarshini at MCC Zonal Office- 4 near Akashavani Circle in Yadavagiri here this morning.

After performing puja at Sri Yoganarasimhaswamy Temple in Vijayanagar, Subbaiah, accompanied by his followers, arrived in a open jeep to the MCC Zonal Office where he filed his nomination papers.

Others who filed their nominations at the same office were Snake Shyam as Independent candidate from Ward No. 6, SBM Manju (Independent – Ward No. 6), Namratha Ramesh (JD-S – Ward No. 22), Bhagya, wife of former Corporator Mahadesh (JD-S – Ward No.19), R. Ravi (Congress – Ward No. 20), Gopal Swamy (JD-S – Ward No.20) and Girish Prasad (BJP – Ward No.6).

Today being the last day to file nominations, all the nominations filing offices were crowded with hectic activity.
