Mysore/Mysuru: Maagi Utsava was celebrated at Sri Chamarajendra School for Excellence on Krishnaraja Boulevard, Chamarajapuram in city, recently. Students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 enthusiastically set up various stalls, showcasing their creativity, teamwork and entrepreneurial skills.
Mahesh N. Urs, Hon. Secretary of Sri Jayachamaraja Ursu Education Trust (SJUET), who was the chief guest, inaugurated the programme by offering floral tributes to the busts of Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar and Sri Chamarajendra Wadiyar.
The stalls included a wide variety of items such as food, stationery, games, plants, organic packed foods and handmade greeting cards. Traditional and popular food items like churmuri, jowar rotti, ragi halwa, sogadeberu juice and poha attracted many visitors.
Joint Secretary Sardar Srikantaraja Urs, Member Balachandra Urs and Architect Padmashree, witnessed the display and encouraged the students.
Parents extended their wholehearted cooperation by guiding the children.
Maagi Utsava provided a wonderful learning experience for students by promoting values such as teamwork, responsibility, unity and service orientation, while also strengthening the bond between students, parents and the school, stated a press release from School Principal N. Sreevathsa.
