Machanda Sarasu Poovaiah (Natolanda), wife of late Poovaiah and a resident of No. 216, 4th Main, 4th Cross, Nethaji Nagar, near Water Tank, Allanahalli, passed away yesterday in city. She was 78.

She leaves behind daughter Shambhavi and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this morning, according to family sources.
