Mahadeva Nayaka (68), who had served as the driver of former Minister late D.T. Jayakumar and a resident of Kalale village in the taluk passed away following a heart attack yesterday.
He leaves behind his wife, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at Kalale village this afternoon, according to family sources.
