Mahadevappa (79), a resident of Srirampura, passed away on Sunday in city.
He leaves behind his son Prasad Babu (President of Krishnaraja Constituency Akhila Bharata Veerashaiva-Ligayat Mahasabha and Treasurer of Sri Veerashaiva Sneha Balaga in Kuvempunagar) and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at his native place Chunchanahalli village yesterday, according to family sources.
